Rankin, TK Maxx and Comic Relief team up for Red Nose Day T-shirt campaign

TK Maxx has partnered with world renowned fashion and portrait photographer Rankin to create the 2017 Red Nose Day T-shirt range for Comic Relief. For this year’s range, Rankin has photographed nine loveable animals and designed each T-shirt including a pyjama set, which will be available exclusively in TK Maxx stores and from 6th February 2017.

Each limited edition design features a different character, from Coco the adorable Kitten to Albert the cool bulldog and Charlie the charming horse which are available across adult, children and baby sizes. Profits from the sale of each T-shirt, which have been wholly manufactured in Africa and are made with Fairtrade cotton sourced from certified co-operatives in Uganda meaning a fairer price for the farmers, are donated to Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives across Africa and here in the UK.

In addition to the T-shirt range, Rankin’s exclusive designs will feature on a selection of homeware products that will also be available to purchase instore and online at These include a tea towel, apron, bag for life, recycled leather notebook and a colouring in notebook.

Rankin commented; “This is an amazing cause and the second year I’ve had the opportunity to get involved with the campaign, this time shooting some of the country’s favourite pets. I’m delighted to support Comic Relief once again and urge everyone to have a bit of fun and make a donation for this year’s Red Nose Day.”

Deborah Dolce, Managing Director for TJX Europe, said: “We are thrilled to have Rankin support us in our t-shirt campaign for Comic Relief this year. We have no doubt that his fantastic range of designs will appeal to all families across the UK, who without their generosity, we wouldn’t be able to raise live changing funds for Red Nose Day.”

Emma Freud, Director of Red Nose Day, added: “We are incredibly excited to be working with TK Maxx and Rankin again this year. The profits from each T-shirt will make a huge difference to the lives of so many across Africa and the UK and we are over the moon with the designs that Rankin has produced – we are forever thankful for his support. Please join us by making your laugh matter this year.”
